He was preceded in death by his wife of 64 years, Melba, his parents, Walter and Mary Swanson, two brothers (infant and Harold), their daughter in law, Patricia Swanson, and son in law, Brian Harris. She volunteered with various clubs and groups through the years. Mom, we will continue to love like you loved. Don is survived by Lee (Moothart) Randall, his beloved wife of 60 years; daughter, Kathy (Darryl) Scroggins, son, Rod (Leigh) Randall, preceded in death by his son, Randy (1968-1996); survived by 9 grandchildren: Kristi (Jonathan) Dietz, Taryn Randall, Jenni (Ben) Otte, Darryl (Lisa) Scroggins, Lauryn (Phil) Estrada, Corbin Randall, Scotty Scroggins, Tim Scroggins, Andy Scroggins; 7 great-grandchildren: Nathan, Jericho, Aria, and Isaiah Dietz, Aaron and Olivia Scroggins, Baby Otte; his brother Keith (Judi) Randall, nephews Jim and Dave Randall. She is survived by her husband Wayne of Levelland, stepson Aaron Mathies of the home, her daughter Rona Spitler of Sparks, Nevada, grandsons Blake and Jake also of Sparks, Nevada, her brother Larry and wife Helen OBleness of Scott City, Kansas. Katharine became intent on completing a Masters level degree in Teaching that would enable her to live in foreign countries and teach English as a Second Language.
